Gross Merchandise Value

Also known as gross merchandise value

The total value of everything sold through your platform before your own cut or costs. Common for marketplaces.

Example

A marketplace processing ₹5 crore of orders has ₹5 crore GMV, even if it keeps only a 10% commission.
