Who is Base91 for?
Founders building a company, at any point from a rough idea to a launched product. There's also room for people who want to work at a startup rather than start one — you can browse roles and apply without being a founder.
What are the six stages?
Ideation (15 days), Market Exploration (21), Validation (30), MVP Build (45), PMF Hunt (60) and GTM Launch (90). Each is time-boxed, and each has required tasks you clear with evidence before the next one opens.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no paid tier, no trial clock and no card required. We are not monetising the platform.
How is this different from a community platform or an online course?
A community gives you a room; a course gives you lessons. Neither tells you what to do this week or checks whether you actually did it. The stage tracker is the spine here — the community, lessons and AI tools all hang off wherever you currently are.
Do I need to be technical?
No. The tracker asks for evidence of progress, not code. The dictionary exists precisely because most founders are surrounded by jargon nobody explains.
What if I'm already past ideation?
Pick the stage you're actually in when you onboard. You aren't forced to start at the beginning, and earlier stages stay readable if you want to check what you skipped.
How do mentors and investors work?
They join by invitation only. You send an access request with context about what you're building; their contact details and a direct conversation unlock only when they accept. Nobody gets cold-messaged.
What can the AI toolkit do?
Generate a 10-slide pitch deck from your stage data, analyse your founder profile, draft a resume and LinkedIn about section, define any business term in plain language, and answer questions across documents you've uploaded.
Can I use it in my own language?
Yes. Switch language from settings or the URL and the interface follows, including this page. Dictionary entries are translated on demand and cached, so the second reader of a term gets it instantly.
Do I have to sign up to see anything?
No. The Founders' Lounge lets you post three messages with no account at all, and the whole business dictionary is public. Sign up when you want the tracker, courses and introductions.
What happens to my data if I stop using it?
Your documents and posts stay yours. Nothing you upload is used to train anything, and the AI features only read the documents you explicitly select for a question.
