Days Sales Outstanding

Also known as days sales outstanding, receivable days, collection period

ग्राहकों द्वारा भुगतान करने में लगने वाले दिनों की औसत संख्या। अधिक DSO का मतलब है कि आपका मुनाफा कागजों पर तो है लेकिन आपके पास असल में नकदी (cash) की कमी है।

Example

75 दिनों के DSO का मतलब है कि आप प्रभावी रूप से अपने ग्राहकों को ढाई महीने तक उधार दे रहे हैं।

Formula

DSO = Accounts Receivable ÷ Total Credit Sales × Number of Days
